I’m Milania — a Registered Nurse based in Ontario, Canada, with a master’s background in public health and health promotion.
But long before I had language for nervous systems, conditioning, or emotional regulation, I was living what looked like a “successful” life on the outside — while quietly losing myself on the inside.
For years, I made decisions to keep the peace, avoid conflict, and meet expectations that weren’t truly mine. I learned how to be good long before I learned how to be honest with myself.
And the cost of that pattern showed up everywhere: in my work, my relationships, my sense of identity, and my wellbeing. Eventually, my life began to unravel — not all at once, but enough that I could no longer ignore it.
What followed wasn’t a quick fix or mindset hack. It was a deeper process of
system healing, emotional regulation, and unlearning the patterns that had once kept me safe but were no longer sustainable.
I tried many approaches along the way, but nothing created lasting change until I understood what I now call
Good Girl conditioning —
and how deeply it shapes women’s lives. That understanding became the foundation for The Good Girl Detox.
This work isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about disentangling from patterns of self-abandonment, approval-seeking, and over-functioning — and slowly returning to a life that feels aligned, grounded, and truly your own.
Today, I support other women through this same process using an evidence-informed, emotionally grounded approach to transformation. I’m also a certified DreamBuilder Life Coach, trained in a structured, repeatable methodology for lasting change.
